Works by e107 theme and mod rewrite, so no core hacking is done. This way it is more "blog" like. For a private site I think the better choice over furl, which does better results if you got your main content in the e107 forum.

...Clarity in Photoshop without color boost... I stumbeld upon this click here  discussion in the photoshop support group.Really interesting, well until you try the technique on pics that contain skin. You get a colour boost and your have to do another skinfix. Then I remembered the good ol lab mode, and voila, doing this only on the lightness channel helped. Example: Original  Clarified  Now the steps: duplicate your Image convert to LAB mode select the lightness channel select/clolor range/midtones edit/copy select lab channel edit/paste filter/other/high pass (25-50) set layer to soft light convert to rgb with flatten select all edit copy close edit paste you are almost done tweak the layer to your liking have fun!
