"Paraty Black" is one of the e107 themes I did with Search engines in mind. It is not graphically the best, I know. It is old fashioned, I know. It does its own tricks! It rewrites the news titles for google and co, so I get nice .html files Works by e107 theme and mod rewrite, so no core hacking is done. This way it is more "blog" like. For a private site I think the better choice over furl, which does better results if you got your main content in the e107 forum.
As planned I have been some days in Bad Tölz, much fun and relaxing, especially in the Alpamare resort, one of bavarias best water parks. I actually spend 4 days mostly with relaxing in one of the several outdoor pools, the best time i had in the iodine pool, felt like being twenty again. Tried some of the water slides, and relaxed in the sun.
The Alpamare is somehow expensive, 33€ (52 US$) a day, but it is worth that price if you count that unbelievable well feeling you get after a day in the bavarian sun and in the water. It´s like magic, you come at your age and leave several years younger. If you book for 2 days or only visit for a half day the entrance fee will be cheaper.
I even canceled the planned tour to the surrounding mountains.
So I had a good time chatting with locals and foreigners, tasty bavarian food in some of the nearby restaurants in Bad Tölz.
If you plan a trip to bavaria you should have Bad Tölz and the Alpamare on your list of places to visit.
Special tip, if you stay at the Hotel Jodquellenhof (means iodine spring) the entrance fee for the Alpamare resort is included and you have the possibility to walk from your hotel room to the Alpamare in cosy bathrobes. The Hotel Jodquellenhof is the oldest hotel in Bad Tölz, but also very modern. If you say Grand Hotel, for Bad Tölz it is surely the Jodquellenhof.
